Our leash and E-collar dog training establish a way to communicate with your dog by using all four quadrants of dog learning. Clear expectations and communication builds trust and strengthens the dog/owner bond which provides safety for your dog and those around them —including other dogs and their owners. 

Through leash and E-collar communication, your dog will learn the following fundamentals: 

  • Sit
  • Down
  • Here
  • Implied stay with each command 

Our “calm state of mind” training teaches your dog to associate their placeboard with relaxation and safety. Once they learn these skills in the context of their place, we teach them to bring that mindset into a variety of environments and situations.

Puppy Board and Train

Our puppy board and train program starts with a 12-day training course for 4-month-old puppies where they’ll learn specific behaviors, including: 

  • Educational engagement games
  • Lured behaviors
  • Introductory to place and socialization

You’ll then take them home and reinforce this puppy training for two months, at which point they can come back for a standard board and train course.

Our intensive board and train is an extended program for dog/owner teams with more advanced training goals. We recommend this program for dogs that have behavioral problems or compete in specific events.

    • Anxiety/separation anxiety

This dog training program is longer than our other board and train programs because our behavioral specialists need time to understand your dog’s personality and fundamental needs. An extended training period also gives your dog time to decompress, reset, and get used to a new way of reacting to certain situations and stimuli. They’ll also get foundational E-collar training and a true off-switch cue to help curb anxiety or restlessness.

Private Dog Training Lessons

Private dog training lessons are available on a limited basis to dog/owner teams deeply committed to training and obedience. At each lesson your trainer will assess where your dog’s skills are, introduce new challenges and direct you and your dog at how to overcome these challenges. 

You will then be given homework to complete, practicing these challenges in between meetings with your trainer. These lessons are a significant time commitment for owners. While most of your learning happens during the lesson, dogs learn by repeating behaviors over and over again, so most of your dog’s learning will happen with you at home.
